I am Dr. Jyoti (Joe) owner and Chief Dental Surgeon at Center for Dental Implants and Esthetics, Gurgaon, Sector -109, Haryana, India. I have done my BDS (5 years Undergraduate level study for Bachelor of Dental Surgery) and MDS (3 years Graduate level course for Master in Dental Surgery) with Major in Prosthodontics, Crown & Bridge & Implantology from Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences, New Delhi, India. I have total clinical experience of 8 years. I have worked both in the public healthcare sector and in private dental practice as an Implant Specialist with one of the renowned chain of dental clinic with over 150 clinics across India.

What services do you offer?

We are specialist team for Dental Implants and Cosmetic Dentistry but we offer full gamut of dental services from minor dental filling to complex procedures like Full Mouth Rehabilitation, TMJ Disorders, Full Mouth All-on-4 or All-on-6 implants, Hybrid dentures, Smile Makeovers,Teeth Whitening, Deep scaling & polishing, Invisalign, Single Sitting RCT & Dentures.

How many dental implant procedures have you done?

I have successfully placed 700+ Implants with 99 percent success rate. 1 % cases which have failed are due to negligence from patient. Example of failure : One patient was a smoker who could not resist smoking and another had difficulty in maintaining hygiene. Our combined total experience including our other team member stand at over 2000 implants.

Why should someone choose you over the competition?

We devote more time on understanding the dental issue and scanning overall dental physiology of the patients. We draw electronic dental charts and keep them for reference in future and provide the same to our patients. We believe working on the root cause of the problem rather than just providing the palliative treatment.

For Dental Implants we have a team of periodontist, prosthodontist, and anesthesiologist, our team works on each case in tandem. We owe our success to advance treatment planning, factoring in dental health history and referring to our combined experience all the time. This ensures success of the procedure, reduces number of visits and discomfort post treatment.

Where do most of your patients come from?

Through online advertising – Google adwords & online promotion on portals like dental tourism Sites, practo and social media Facebook, Quora, Twitter, Google plus etc. We also do local BTL Marketing like dental camps in residential societies, schools and corporates.

What procedures do you typically recommend and perform?

Procedure like Full Mouth All-on-4 or All-on-6 implants, Hybrid dentures, Smile Makeovers, Teeth Whitening, Metal free & Zicronia bridges, Full Mouth Rehabilitation, TMJ Disorders management with splints.

What type of implants does your clinic use?

We have all the ranges starting from Nobel biocare, Osstem, Biohorizons, Alphabio and CWM

Can you please provide a quick description of the surgical procedure at your clinic?

At the outset we do a clinical evaluation of possibility of an implant. We suggest the patients to get required x-rays or CBCT done to evaluate the quantity and quality of bone, blood tests will also be done along with current status of any medical illness history like Hypertension, Diabetes, Asthma, Osteoporosis, Calcium Deficiency, Thyroid problems.

Our team discussed the case internally and once cleared as potential candidate for implant we draw up a treatment plan. Treatment plant is communicated and final consent is taken from the patient. Implant surgery usually takes from 30 minutes to 1.5 hours under local anaesthesia depending upon various factors like number of implants, quantity or quality of bone, closeness to vital structures and also patient cooperation.

Teeth can be placed on the implant depending upon the type of procedure whether it is immediate or delayed and functional (active chewing) or non-functional (passive chewing). Follow up is usually done after 4 days to 1 week of the surgery. It takes from 2-3 months for implant to fuse with the bone. Healing may be compromised in patients with medical problems like diabetes, osteoporosis, anemia etc. Regular follow up with your dentist and maintaining oral hygiene is mandatory for success of implants.

How much do your procedures cost?

Implant Surgery & complete procedure cost starts from $600 – factors like number of implants, brand, and requirement of sinus lift or bone grafting affect the total cost. As a policy, to maintain absolute transparency we have published our fees and charges on our website.

What payment methods do you accept? Do you offer financing?

We accept online payment, credit cards & debit cards. No we do not offer financing.

How many appointments are required to get one or two implants?

For 1 or 2 implants its usually takes between 3-5 appointments – if it is possible to do immediate loading number of appointments are low. If additional procedures are required like a sinus lift or bone grafting appointment may go up.

How long is the healing time like for patients who get dental implants?

Healing time post surgery can be up to 02 weeks

What do you advise your patients to do if they have a problem with their implant?

There are 02 possibilities of implants getting loose or coming out.

1. Surgical procedural deficiency, our center takes the responsibility in case of procedural deficiency of our part. Our promise to our patients is make the loss good and we offer to rectify implant Free of Charge.

2. In case defect with the implants or its components. We use only use Implants that have lifetime warranty, it is advised to the patient to keep all the records of brand of implant, type & size, which manufacturing lot # etc. (all of this is provided to the patient at the time of surgery) and also its imp to keep copy of x-rays done after the implant procedure safe for smooth claim of the new implant.
