Dr. Shane graduated from the University of Washington School of Dentistry and received his bachelor of science degree from UW as well. (His love for the Huskies has only grown in the intervening years.) Dr. Shane brings a wide range of personal interests to his lively chair-side conversations and his relationships with his patients. He loves getting to know patients and learning more about his new Ballard home.

Dr. Shane Sidhu, D.D.S – known simply as Dr. Shane by his patients, has more than 10 years experience practicing general dentistry in his new Ballard location. He is dedicated to offering patients the highest quality of care, and the comfort that comes from developing a long-term relationship with a trusted health care provider. Dr. Shane practices a wide range of treatments, ensuring minimal need for referrals to other providers. He actively pursues continuing education and information on the latest treatment techniques.

Dr. Wyne was born in Washington, D.C. and was raised in Poolesville, M.D. He finished his undergraduate education at Lehigh University in Pennsylvania with a degree in Chemistry and is a graduate of the University of Maryland Dental School in Baltimore. Dr. Wyne is a member of the Maryland State Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Dental Association.

Summary of the steps in the procedure?

Not more then 3 appointments. For patients missing all their teeth, we offer traditional dentures to give you back the function, feel and appearance of your natural teeth. For optimal aesthetics, we also offer flexible smile replacements for partial areas of missing teeth.

What do advise your patients to do if they have a problem with their implant?

Yes we do provide guarantees. Problems with dental implants are rare, but they do happen. If you notice your dental implant has loosened, is causing your gum to swell, or the crown on top of your implant is cracked, call Dr. Sidhu right away! A dental implant can’t fix itself and if you try to treat it yourself, you could end up causing more damage to your mouth.
