Please give me a summary of the steps in the process of getting an implant at your clinic.
We Provide all type of Dental Implants, the dental implantation hugely depends on the case. The steps involved in getting dental implants at Sparkle dental Clinic are as:
A) Initial Consultation: This can be done online or at Clinic. Initial consultation helps to review us the patients requirements, functional as well as aesthetics. To get started Sparkle provides online form on website/ email to send patients their X-rays, CBCT reports and there requirement details.
B) Treatment Planning: After the review of your diagnostics and your requirements our implant dentist would suggest a best suitable treatment plan for dental implant procedure. This will give patient a fair idea for type of dental implants to be used, duration of treatment with clinical visits, estimated cost for the dental implant procedure.
C) Initial Dental Visit: We recommend initial dental visit for dental implant patients to get familiar with staff and doctors. This helps us to understand patients treatment and personal requirements, so in future patient get a truly personalized dental care. Initial dental visit is mostly informative but is also helpful in making dental impressions for provisional teeth and to manage aesthetic outcomes of dental implant procedure.
D) Surgery Visit: In a surgery visit patient gets all treatments for dental implant procedure like – teeth removal, fixation of implants, impressions for permanent teeth, securing healing abutments, etc.
E) We also provide same day implants in suitable cases so in surgery visit patients get teeth removal, implant placement and fixed dentures by end of a visit- all in a day.
F) Crown Fixation Visit: For conventional dental implant patients this visit is needed to get fixed crowns over the already fixed and secured dental implants. This visit is usually after the 3-5 months apart form the surgery visit.
G) Follow-up Visits: At Sparkle Dental Clinic we recommend highly on follow up visit to ensure long term success with dental implants. Initial Followup visit is usually within a week for immediate implants and after one week of crown fixation visit for conventional implants. Follow up visits are used to stabilized biting habits and soft tissue contouring reviews. Also patients are educated on good personal maintenance of dental implants and crowns.

How many appointments are required to get one or two implants?
Dental implant treatment usually involves two stages, 3-6 months apart. Suppose patients have enough bone to begin with and do not need a complicated bone grafting, 2 trips in 3-6 months are required to finish the treatment.
Patients should spare 7 days each trip for the treatment including recuperation period.
In some cases, a one trip with the immediate loading implant is possible but please note that not everyone is a candidate.
How long is the healing time like for patients who get dental implants?
The healing time for dental implant is from 3 to 18 months, depending on the sites of the surgery and whether bone grafting is needed or not. Usually a followup visit is required for immediate implant procedure.
What do you advise your patients to do if they have a problem with their implant?
We provide life time warranty for all types of dental implants done by us. In case if there is failure of dental implant, we advice patients not to panic and get back to us. Our experts will evaluate the reason for failure and will replace the implant and prosthetic without any additional cost. There will be no cost for clinical replacement by us, except patients visit and stay.
