Dr. Nguyen Hieu Tung graduated odonto-maxillofacial doctor at Ho Chi Minh City Medicine and Pharmacy University in 2007. After successfully defending thesis with the excellent achievement by French front The Jury Council from the University of Bodeaux-France and Ho Chi Minh City Medicine and Pharmacy University, Dr. Nguyen Hieu Tung was honored to receive the only scholarship of the French Government (AUF Scholarship) to continue for studying MSc at the University of Aix-Marseille, Marseille City, France.
Since 2007 – 2009, Dr. Nguyen Hieu Tung research on “DNA and the DNA decay of pulp and the bacteria in root canal” at the Faculty of Medicine – University of Aix-Marseille. After defending Master thesis, Dr. Nguyen Hieu Tung continued to receive scholarship from the French Government (Evariste Galois Scholarship).
Since 2009 – 2012, Dr. Nguyen Hieu Tung was PhD student at La Timone Hospital and Laboratoire URMITE, Faculty of Medicine – University of Aix-Marseille with the topic “Using molecular biology techniques to detect and solve DNA code of bacteria in root canal”.
Dr. Nguyen Hieu Tung defensed PhD thesis excellently in 2012 with 7 scientific articles published in the Specialized Medical and World Dentistry Journals, he is one of the youngest Medical PhDs in Vietnam at present when successfully defended PhD thesis at the age of 31 in France.

Please give me a summary of the steps in the process of getting an implant at your clinic.
The implant tooth procedure for replacing a tooth (or called the process of implantation of teeth):
► 1st step: The doctor will examine generally your dental status and take 3D X-rays
– Panoramic X-rays: for treatment of dental crown and general dentistry.
– CT Cone Beam X-rays: for treatment of dental implant, root canal and tooth extraction.
After analyzing your X-ray, the doctor will describe the entire of dental treatment process by mouth and on the computer which will be performed in the reality for you at the next appointments.
► 2nd step: The implant surgery
After analyzing your jawbone quality, the doctor will conduct to perform the implant surgery and may combine bone grafting technique if your bone lost a small to large volume. On the other hand, if the jawbone size at the upper jaw is too thin and close to the maxillary sinus the doctor will apply sinus lift techniques to widen the gap to support bone grafting step easily.
► 3rd step: Checking and placing the temporary tooth
From 24 hours to 36 hours after the implant surgery, the doctor will always follow your implant tooth status as well as the bone integration level between implant post and jowl and place temporary tooth on implant when wait the wound heal.
► 4th step: Porcelain crown restorations
After 6 – 9 months depends on the level of healing that allow the doctor place healing, abutment and porcelain crown on implant for you.

If the patient have to graft bone, it will take 4 – 6 months for healing as well as allow to restore the porcelain crown on implants.

Our responsibility & obligation
We will solve and/or replace any incidents with your implants all free when give that:
There are errors of the implant itself.
Issues throughout the process of implant and prostheses on implant.
Free accommodation will be supported during the warranty procedures and NOT including Airfare.

The patients MUST comply with the guidelines on implant teeth care to be eligible for our warranty policy.
The warranty period will be shortened or canceled in some cases includes:
Bone grafting or sinus lift within the same time with the implant surgery.
Some of common diseases today have a detrimental impact on chewing agency such as: diabetes, epilepsy, osteoporosis and diseases related to the immune syndrome.
Smoking too much or abusing drugs.
Poor oral hygiene and infection affects bone loss around the implant.
Do not oral care at home under the guidance of the doctor.
Do not perform periodic re-examination every 6 months.
Do not wear protective tray when gritted teeth.
2. High-ranking cosmetic ceramic crown
Applying 10 years warranty for Zirconia crown (Full ceramic crown).
Applying 7 years warranty for Emax crown (non-metal metal ceramic crown).
Applying 5 years warranty for Titanium crown (senior metal ceramic crown).

Re-check, care and clean at our dental center every 6 months during the warranty period.

Wear protective tray if teeth grinding at night.

Do not gnashing of teeth.
Do not eat or chew the food too hard or too hot.
Limit foods that is too sticky (crown are made from ceramic that will continuously shrink and swell when exposed to cold and hot foods, this can cause ceramic layer broken easily).
The warranty period will be shortened or canceled in some cases includes:
Oral diseases caused by poor post-procedure oral hygiene (gingivitis or infection around the roots).
Damage caused by high stress (gnashing of teeth at night, grip of the teeth).
The patients do not comply with the procedures for dental care at home under the guidance of the dentist.
The patients do not re-examine for dental checking and cleaning.
