How many dental implant procedures have you done?

We have done close to 100 to 200 implants per year, our office has success rate of 98 to 99% .

Where do most of your patients come from?

Our patient mostly came from countries like Australia, United States of America and Europe.  They usually are referred by our former patients as well as to our website.

What procedures do you typically recommend and perform?

We usually performed all implant procedures, from single to multiple implant placement.  Sinus lift, all on four, all on six, major grafting procedures,

What type of implants (technology) does your clinic use?

We usually use different brands: Straumann, MIS Implants, 3i implants.

Please give me a summary of the steps in the process of getting an implant at your clinic.

First we need to get a panoramic xray or a cone beam CT in their local home country, we would request this to be emailed to us so we can give them an accurate treatment plan and quotation, after this, medical check up for clearance to any medical concerns especially for patients with health concerns. This is should be conveniently done in your home country as well, then the implant surgery. We also have a local Medical Doctor that we refer to as well but in case of limited time, then we highly recommend that this procedure should be done prior to coming here.

Can you please provide a quick description of the surgical procedure at your clinic?

Patient can opt for Local anaesthesia or General anaesthesia (done in our Local Tertiary hospital).  Sedation could also be done in our office, If the area is numb, incision or flapless implant placement could be done immediately.

How much do your procedures cost?

$1500 USD for straightforward implant surgery with hybrid plastic crown. Other fees like bone grafting, sinuslift will have different fee as well or added cost.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Cash, almost all Credit card.  Financing is done thru the credit card.

How many trips to the Philippines are required?

Usually patients make 2 trips to the Philippines with a minimum interval of average 6 months if extensive surgery is made. They stay with us for at least 10 days.  But for single or 2 implants procedure, patient can have a single or one time visit.  What we could do is to make the final crown immediate and load the implants or we could make a guide and refer them out to his home town dentist to fixed the crowns after 2 to 3 months.

How long is the healing time like for patients who get dental implants?

Usually healing will take 7 to 10 days after surgery. Appointment for this will take 2 to 3 session within the 10 day period.  In between the sessions, they can visit great places in my city and have great vacation with in this time period as well.

What do advise your patients to do if they have a problem with their implant?

We usually offer a one year warranty on our procedures from implants to crowns but it must be done in our office.

What other costs would there be for someone travelling to your clinic from North America?

Aside from airfare, local tour is offered for a minimal fee in our hotel.  We have accredited tour guides to take anywhere they want from our guide listings.  They can go from Highlands to the sea.  We have everything in our City.

Where do your patients stay while they are getting an implant done?

We have a hotel its www.hotelindavao.com.  The hotel name is First Pacific Inn.  They can get the rates and see the rooms here.  Our office is inside this hotel.

Is it safe in the Philippines?

Yes its safe to travel to the Philippines most especially our City of Davao. We are credited to be within one of the top 15 safest city in the world.

Does a patient need to be able to speak Filipino?

Nope, we speak good English, Spanish and Chinese

What is there to do in your city?

We have mountain resorts as well as famous beach resorts.  We also has a very great shopping destination.

What is the best time of year to travel to the Philippines?

All year.

What are the best places to eat in your area?

There are many great restaurant from European to Chinese to local Filipino Food.  You will love it here. People won’t go hungry here.  We have international cuisine in Davao…
